This policy explains what data the Académie Vases d'Honneur collects, why, and how you stay in control of it.
Data controller
Église Vases d'Honneur (Organisation Chrétienne Message de Vie), Angré, Cocody, Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. Contact: academie@vasesdhonneur.org.
Data collected and purposes
- Contact form: name, email address and message, solely to answer your enquiry.
- Academy enrolment (on the platform): personal details, contact information, family and professional situation, together with information about your spiritual life — year of conversion, baptism, church attended, responsibilities.
Sensitive data: your consent
Information relating to your religious beliefs constitutes a special category of personal data under Article 9 of the GDPR. It is processed solely on the basis of your explicit consent, collected and time-stamped at enrolment, and only to organise your training. You may withdraw that consent at any time.
Recipients
Your data is accessible only to authorised people within your church (school management, class mentor, class facilitator) and is never sold or passed on for commercial purposes. Our technical processors are Microsoft Azure (hosting, European Union), Brevo (email delivery) and Zoom (live meetings).
Retention
- Contact enquiries: 12 months.
- Student records: for the duration of the programme, then archiving of results and diplomas.
- Rejected applications: kept so that you can apply again for a later term, then anonymised after 24 months without a new application at the latest.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent. Write to academie@vasesdhonneur.org: we reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country of residence.
